Bulk Uploading Geo Targeting
The following article outlines the feature for bulk uploading geo targeting.
Geo targeting can be bulk uploaded from the Advertiser > Geography section or within a tactic's targeting and optimization. The options for bulk upload include zip/postal code, city, dma, and state.
Formatting:
Lists with DMA and City geography types must follow standard geo segment conventions. For example, the DMA convention is the state abbreviation and, if multiple cities are in the DMA, these need to be included as dashes and not backslashes.
ZIP Codes must be added to lists in the correct format for each country. For example, we only accept the standard five-digit code for the United States and Brazil (without the extension digits). For Canada, only the first three characters (known as the forward sortation area) of the six-character code are accepted. United Kingdom postcodes are divided into an outward and inward portion—only the outward code should be entered. ZIP Codes within Ireland cannot be targeted.
